Working with your picture.

These days, with quality software, it is possible to produce good results from quite poor original photographs.

If you follow our simple guide here we will do the rest to produce a quality image.

Scan your original on a high resolution, this makes the picture as clear as possible.

Then, if it is a group photograph, please indicate which of the people on the photograph is to be used. The easy way to do this is to simply use a paint tool to arrow the individual.

Then save your image with your surname and today's date.

Once we have your image we then begin work to create your candle image.

First, we will isolate your subject from the group 

Then we re-create the background to remove and repair any unwanted items

Next we create the oval Vingnette (a feathered edged image) 

If you prefer we can then produce a black and white version 

The choice of photograph is obviously your decision, but if you don't have a good recent photograph, you may cansider using a staged photograph from the past, for example a wedding photograph.

If you want to produce a joint memorial, we can artificially create a joint image, like the one below, where the individuals we not standing together. This can be done from two separate images if you need to.
