Our candles are sold in numerous outlets in the United Kingdom, predominantly funeral arrangers and monumental masons, who offer our products, on our behalf to their clients.

Conditions of Use
Orders: 

All orders for goods shall be deemed to be an offer by you, the buyer, to purchase goods pursuant to these terms and conditions. You, the buyer, shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details you provide on the order form and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested have been entered correctly 

We are entitled to refuse any order placed by a buyer and will not be required to provide an explanation. 

All orders are accepted subject to availability of stock items and/or raw materials and on the understanding that Candles by Laurence is not held responsible for any loss or delay arising from contingencies beyond its control. 

You will be issued with a electronic receipt to your email address as soon as you have placed your order. 

All prices shown on Candles by Laurence are in pounds sterling and include VAT. 

Candles by Laurence  reserves the right to amend it's prices at any time.

Force Majeure: 

The company shall not be held responsible for any liability to deliver in consequence of war, changes in fiscal policy, strikes, lockouts, fire, breakdown or any other contingency beyond our control.

Shipping: 

Any dates quoted for shipping of the goods are approximate only and Candles by Laurence shall not be held liable for any delay in shipping of the goods however caused. Candles by Laurence does not deliver to PO Box addresses. Some of our craft products are hand made and so on occasion there may be delays in production that are beyond our control. Candles by Laurence therefore reserve the right to revise delivery dates in the event of such circumstances. In such cases the customer will be notified immediately of any delay to the anticipated delivery time and given the option to cancel the order. If you choose to cancel your order, a full refund will be provided. Notwithstanding the rate of delivery provided for, in relation to the transaction, no guarantee or warranty as to the rate or time of delivery is given or implied. The headings of this Terms & Conditions Agreement are for convenience only and will not affect their interpretation. Unless otherwise stated in writing and signed by a proprietor of Candles by Laurence, the below Terms & Conditions apply to all web orders placed with Candles by Laurence. 

An order for goods placed by you, the buyer through our website shall be subject to these terms and conditions. All other terms and conditions, express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer.

ADVICE: If you live in the UK and have not received your order within 5 - 7 days of the receipt of a "Your order has been Despatched" email, please first check with your local Royal Mail sorting office to see if they are holding a parcel for you.

The cost of postage and packaging is FREE TO ALL MAINLAND UK ADDRESSES.
For all other destinations please contact us for a specific, upto date quotation.
We use Royal Mail's Small parcel service and Royal Mail's Standard Parcel service as the preferred method for shipping within the UK.
Allow up to 7 working days for deliveries to mainland UK (During the Christmas period, please allow an extra few days.)

Our Returns Policy:
If you are unhappy with your order, you may return it within 10 days for a refund (not including postage). Return postage is the responsibility of the customer and you must notify us within 10 working days from the date the goods were delivered, of any shortages, defects in the goods or any other complaint you have in respect of them.

In the event of an order being incorrect, we will be happy to exchange the item for you without charge and refund any postage costs involved in sending the incorrect item back. In circumstances where we are not at fault for a return, no returned merchandise will be accepted without prior authorization by Candles by Laurence.
If authorised, goods are to be returned within 30 days of the order date. Return shipping costs are calculated using the lowest available shipping costs. Credits are processed upon confirmation by our suppliers that the goods have been returned. Allow up to two billing cycles for the return credit to appear on your credit card statement. (No cancellation of goods already in transit can be accepted. If the client should refuse these goods on arrival, the client will be responsible for the cost of two-way carriage and any lose of profit incurred.)
